We are glad to be part of another negotiations between Slovak defence companies and Ministry of Defence India. Meeting at Ministry of Defence India with Lt.Gen. Vinod Khandare on August 4, 2023

Strengthening of defence and manufacturing cooperation between Slovakia and India is one of the key pillars of the Indian Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic . We had short but effective visit to India, meeting various commercial institutions like FICCI (holding 250,000 members) and EEPC India (State institution holding 13,000 manufacturing companies in India) and last but not least planned visit of Ministry of Defence.

The historical bond between Czechoslovakia and India laid a solid foundation for this collaboration, now Slovakia needs to continue on its own way finding partners for production, transfer of technology or joint ventures. And we have lot to offer. From Full Flight Simulators of highest quality, Military Multitool Excavators based on wheel chassis, 155 mm Howitzers, Demining Technology, small planes or cyber security just to name few.

Visit of Ministry of Defence, India

Our delegation had the privilege of meeting the esteemed Lt. General Vinod Khandare, Principal Advisor in the Ministry of Defence, and Former Director General of the Defence Intelligence Agency of India. His insights and expertise will indeed move commercial contracts forward.

EEPC

Fostering international partnerships in defense will not only strengthen security ties but also lead to greater economic prosperity to both nations. During the trip we also visited Government institution EEPC - Engineering Export Promotion Council of India and talked with esteemed Director of Trade Mr. Gurvinder Singh. EEPC India has been the face of Indian engineering exports over a span of 67 years when India grew from a nation exporting just $10 million of engineering goods in 1955 to $112 billion in 2021-22 and is regarded as the model EPC in India by the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry. We decided to sign MOU about cooperation which will come to life soon.

A bit of Triveni Kala Sangam's History

Founded in 1950 by the renowned artist Smt. Rama Jain, Triveni Kala Sangam stands tall as a bastion of artistic expression and #cultural #diversity. The name "Triveni" signifies the confluence of three rivers, reflecting the institution's mission to bring together various forms of #art, creativity, and talent under one roof. Over the decades, it has evolved into a hub for artists, art enthusiasts, and cultural promoters, nurturing talents and celebrating the beauty of Indian art in all its forms.

Exploring the Art Gallery

The art gallery at Triveni Kala Sangam is a treasure trove for anyone with an appreciation for the arts. The moment you step inside, you are greeted by a mix of traditional and contemporary artworks. From local Indian paintings and sculptures to captivating photographs and mixed-media creations, the gallery showcases the rich tapestry of India's artistic heritage. It might not be the biggest one you have seen in Europe or US, but it will catch your heart and attention.

The gallery also offers a platform for young talents to showcase their work alongside established masters, fostering an environment of growth and learning. Moreover, the institution regularly organizes exhibitions, workshops, and interactive sessions, providing a space for dialogue and networking within the art community.
